Who Can Join?
All friends of Nigerian tennis
and lover of the game can join. We invite you to join us in growing the game of tennis in our communities and in Nigeria.
Members must be able to dedicate enough time to participate and make a difference in the organization.
Benefits of Joining
Membership in the Nigerian Tennis
Foundation entitles each member to enjoy benefits such as moral, technical, financial assistance, useful information and access
to national and international resources pertaining to tennis development, college recruitment, and training/coaching tips. However, enjoyment of these and other benefits are subject to the rules, regulations
stipulated in the Constitution.
Membership
and Qualifications
[a] Nigerian Tennis Foundation shall be opened to former Nigerians tennis
players and friends of Nigerian tennis.
[d]
Must be from the age of 18 and above, willing to attend meetings regularly, pay all
applicable fees when due.
[e]
Agree to abide by the provisions in the Nigerian Tennis Foundation Constitution.
Types of Membership
The
organization shall comprise the following categories of members:
(a)
General
(b)
Student
(c)
Honorary
(d)
Advisory
General (Full) members: Active and have
paid their membership dues.
Student members - Eligible
students shall be enrolled in high schools, colleges and universities in Nigeria and in the United States. They will not pay
annual dues and will not enjoy a voting right, unless they are eighteen years and above. Their participation, however, is
to ensure a smooth transition into full membership when they are out of school.
Honorary members - Honorary membership
shall be granted to anyone and all friends of Nigerian Tennis Foundation (NTF), particularly to all the Board members of the
Nigerian Tennis Federation. Honorary members do not have to pay monthly dues; they cannot hold or organize the monthly meeting(s)
of the organization. Honorary members may offer the Foundation with financial and moral support.
Advisory members – Advisory members will make recommendations to the Board of Directors. The current chair
of Nigerian Tennis Federation shall automatically serve on the advisory committee. Advisory members do not have to pay monthly
dues. They cannot hold or organize the monthly meeting(s) of the organization. Advisory members may offer the Foundation with
financial, technical and moral support.
